Perching Stools are often referred to as Sit/Stand stools as the user is partially standing and sitting when working. This takes the pressure of the legs in environments that require prolonged periods to work but sitting in a chair is not appropriate to the tasks being performed. A Perching Stool is designed to take the weight off the user’s legs when working at higher work surfaces e.g. laboratory benches using microscopes, getting up to receive items in loading bay and then enter at a computer on a bench.
